VIOLAS

Luthier Martin Sheridan has made violas from 15.5 inches in length to 16.5.  "I have been amazed at how much of a viola sound can come out of a viola as small as at 15 and a half inch. But my current favorite is the Stradivari design as used in the Tuscan-Medici and Archento violas."  At about 415mm in length it comes to just under 16.5 inches.  A very beautiful instrument to own and play!
